Do You Resonate With Where You Live?

I guess I’m not the only one!

Who else LOVES where they live?

Who else feels settled, joyful and inspired by their surroundings?

As a person who didn’t love where they live for nearly 20 years, I know how important it is that we resonate with where we live.

Nearly a year ago now, I up and moved my family to a new city.

We left the thriving business that we had spent the past seven years building up.

We had finally gotten it to the place we wanted it, but the only thing was, we had created the business in a city that just didn’t resonate with us.

We didn’t love the climate, we didn’t resonate with the people...We never found our ‘tribe’ and pretty much our entire life was about the clinic.

We felt like we had to hide the parts of ourselves that weren’t ‘mainstream’, and would only talk about the things that really fired us up between ourselves, or with clients who really got it. It was an irritant that I carried with me every day for seven years.

I didn’t realize how much of an irritant it had been until we moved.

It was scary to up and leave our financial security, but we took a leap of faith and everything fell into place in ways that were even better than we could have imagined.

Now we live in a city that brings us so much joy and inspiration.

Our surroundings are incredible, and in less than a year we have created more of a community than we did in seven years in our last city.

We don’t feel like we have to hide those parts of ourselves that didn’t fit in before, and are surrounded by like-minded people.

We feel like we can fully embrace who we are and begin to really blossom.

A resonant place to live will help to nurture you, and help you become more of who you are.

If you don’t feel this way about where you live, it is time to start thinking about places you are drawn to, and to start exploring, because we need resonance in all areas of our life, including where we live 💖
